LUETEB - LIBERA UNIVERSITA’ EUROPEA TERZA ETA’ BASILICATA
Italian partner LUETEB – LIBERA UNIVERSITA’ EUROPEA TERZA ETA’ BASILICATA – is based in municipality and linked to the local archaeological museum. This NGO has experience in lifelong learning with focus on cultural education and local heritage valorisation. LUETEB will cooperate in this project with few organisations who will support and disseminate project activities:
• Rural Development Centre Marmo Melandro, a LBG consortium company on a public-private mixed composition,15 municipalities are part of it. CSR is implementing body of the Leader II Program, currently, the CSR carries out promotion and development activities and local awareness companies on the issues of rural and cultural heritage preservation.
• Pollino National Park (Italian: Parco Nazionale del Pollino) is a national park in southern Italy that straddles the regions of Basilicata and Calabria.The park’s symbol is the rare Bosnian pine tree. The park is also home to a variety of medicinal herbs and its’s an example of natural and cultural heritage where you can walk among the wild and unspoiled nature, observing animals and birds of prey, and also learn about local customs and traditions, and taste the authentic, traditional recipes.
• The Art Master, Gallicchio Rocco, in the objects which he creates in his own workshop, proposes always the original features of the ancient Ceramics of Calvello, whose unmistakable elements are crafted object combined with shades of glaze and refinement of design.
